Founded in Turin in 2007, EiE Film is an independent production company that stands out for its international vocation.
Winner of the David di Donatello 2025 with DOMENICA SERA by Matteo Tortone, EiE Film’s work moves along three main lines: the production of one-off documentaries, intended for cinema or television; factual seriality, designed for digital platforms, and fiction cinema, with the aim of exploring new forms of storytelling.

Our goal is to develop and produce “stories that move the world”: stories that know how to cross borders, languages and cultures. For this reason, EiE Film collaborates with partners in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia, building co-productions and distributing its films in over twenty-five countries in cinemas, international broadcasters and streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky, Rai and Discovery.

Alessandro Carroli

Head of feature documentary/fiction, Executive producer

Bio
Producer and co-founder of EiE Film, has worked with numerous production companies such as IBC Movie and Ballandi. His films, including After a Revolution, La Ricerca and Amate Sponde, have been selected and awarded at major international festivals.
It has co-produced with several European countries, with distribution in over 25 countries. In 2012 he represented Italy at the Emerging Producers and Europa Creativa. Alessandro is Eurodoc and EAVE Puentes Italia Alumnus and graduated EAVE 2016.

Diego Volpi

Head of post-production, Editor, Author

Bio
Sinologist and historian, he graduated in screenwriting at the Scuola Holden in Turin. He then moves on to editing, playing a key role in the finalisation and creative supervision of a wide range of film projects of EiE Film.
He has participated in various training programmes, with Steen Muller, Sybille Kurz and Hanne Skjødt.
Combines academic expertise and a passion for intercultural storytelling to create impactful stories.

Davide Valentini

Head of tv documentary/factual series, Executive producer 

Bio
Italian producer and author, started his career in 2007, working as a writer and producer for the company SGI Turin. He created the docu-series “Years of Mercy” for Rai Educational, from which a book published by Laterza was also taken.
His experience in production culminated in 2015 when he co-founded EiE film, where he manages several docu-series and factual television productions. Among his recent works also stands out the documentary series “Carpenters at High Altitude”.

Zelia Zbogar

Development producer, story editor

Bio
Screenwriter and story editor, collaborates with EIE film since 2016, taking care of development and production of the projects. Trained in documentary cinema, she creates engaging stories that investigate the present, moving on the boundaries between written and unwritten language. She is an alumna of the Torino Film Lab Extended 2021 and the Berlinale Talents 2020, which have enriched her narrative landscape and strengthened her international connections. Received the MIC writing grant in 2020.

Riccardo Chiriotto

Ex chef de partie in rinomati ristoranti internazionali, dal 2019 si dedica con successo al montaggio cinematografico.
A capo della divisione Factual e Docu-Series di EIE film, è responsabile del montaggio della serie di successo Extreme Mountain Carpenters.

Greta Nordio

Development producer, audience designer

Bio
Producer, audience designer and independent film finance consultant. She is a Fund Advisor for TorinoFilmLab and works as a development producer for EiE Film’s fiction projects. Previously, she was for 6 years responsible for financing, business and legal affairs of the independent production house Vivo film, where she worked on creative and financial development co-productions and award-winning films such as Miss Marx, Chiara, Figlia mia, Siberia, The Blob, Don’t Kill Me.

Anna Milza

Administration

Bio
Animation student at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Torino, in 2024 she participates in Forward – Producers Lab and in the masterclass “Director of production in animation” of Anica Academy, deepening pipeline and workflow of animation.
In the same year, he started working with EiE Film on administrative matters. His interests range between various forms of expression, united by the format: the documentary.

Chiara Ziggiotti

Communication, Social Media

Bio
Graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of Turin, she is currently responsible for communication at EiE Film, taking care of image and media presence, managing press office activities and integrated communication strategies.
In the past he has enriched his career with an internship at a recording studio, focusing on social content management and digital brand identity amplification.

Alberto Giorgis

 Legal Team, Executive Producer

Bio
Lawyer with extensive experience in the cinema and TV, in 2011, produces and directs his first independent feature film entitled “Altroquando”.
Since then he has been an assistant director, executive producer and legal advisor on another independent feature film from 2018 entitled “You Die”.
In 2021 begins a stable collaboration with EiE film as legal of the company and as executive producer.
