On the morning of February 17, 2003, investigators from Antwerp’s infamous ‘Diamond Squad’ were called to investigate the brazen nighttime robbery of a supposedly impregnable vault in the center of the Diamond City.
It is estimated that between 100 million and half a billion diamonds were stolen and never found. The heist was carried out by an ingenious gang of jewel thieves from Italy, known as “La Scuola di Torino”.
Now after more than 20 years, the world will finally find out how they did it.
