Udine, 1959. Lino, a restless fourteen-year-old labeled as “del morbin”, drifts between family reproaches and neighborhood brawls. Everything changes when he is introduced to Elvis and Rock ‘n’ Roll. After yet another fight, his parents push him away from school to make him work.

Lino decides to run away with his friend Giampaolo to reach Elvis, who is doing his military service in Germany. The two cross Europe, facing hunger and hardships, united by the dream of meeting their idol and delivering the sheet music of a popular Italian song: Santa Lucia.
